NITC, First Iranian Member of INTERTANKO

National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) became the first Iranian member of the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners (INTERTANKO), NITC Planning Manager Abd-al-Samad Ta?"aqol told PIN on Wednesday.
Ta?"aqol said INTERTANKO has highly skilled marine experts enjoyed great prestige in sea transportation market and was dedicated to updating sea transportation of oil products.
He furthermore mentioned following the membership, the representatives of the new company would reserve the right to attend the sessions of the association?"s council and to vote in conformity with its fleet and articles of association, adding the council outlined the main policies of the associations and all marine bodies respected its policies.
