مسعود پزشکیان نامزد چهاردهمین دوره انتخابات ریاست جمهوری عصر امروز (شنبه) در برنامه «صف اول» در رابطه با سوابق عملکردی و مسئولیت‌های دوران خدمت خود اظهار داشت: من مهرماه ۱۳۳۳ در مهاباد به دنیا آمدم و تا سیکل در مهاباد بودم. در ارومیه به هنرستان رفتم و دیپلم هنرستان گرفتم. خدمت رفتم و یکسال و نیم در زابل بودم. به مهاباد برگشتم و وارد دانشگاه پزشکی شدم و این دوره ده سال طول کشید تا به پایان برسد به دلیل اینکه انقلاب شد.
وی عنوان کرد: بعد وارد جبهه جنگ شدیم و در پشت صحنه‌ها و پشت جبهه حضور داشتم. بعد از جنگ، حدود سه سال از تحصیل بازماندم و مدیریت جهاد دانشگاهی را بر عهده داشتم. بعد از آن به تحصیل ادامه دادم. از همان ابتدا نگاهم و تصورم این بود که انقلاب کردیم تا محرومین به آسایش برسند. آزمون جراحی دادیم و قبول شدم و در جراحی عمومی نفر دوم امتحانات کتبی شدم.
این نامزد انتخابات ریاست جمهوری اضافه کرد: ازدواج کردم و همسر مرحومم نیز درس‌خوان و قابل اعتماد بودند. پس از آن فوق تخصص جراحی قلب گرفتم. همسرم در بیمارستان شریعتی فوق تخصص نازایی گرفت. در تصادفی همسرم و یکی از فرزندانم را از دست دادیم و از آن پس پدر و مادر فرزندانم بودم.
پزشکیان با اشاره به سمت‌هایی مانند وزیری، معاون وزیر، نماینده مجلس، گفت: ما اوایل انقلاب که مسئولیت گرفتیم هیچ شخصی را بیرون نکردیم زیرا خود را در جایگاه قاضی قرار نمی‌دادیم و تصمیم سیاسی نمی‌گرفتیم درحالی‌که انقلاب شده بود و قدرت داشتیم. هیچ‌گاه به استاد خود بی‌احترامی نمی‌کردیم. وظیفه داریم به آنهایی که پیشکسوت ما بودند احترام بگذاریم.
وی در رابطه با شاخص موفقیت خود برای حل مسائل مردم، گفت: ما انقلاب کردیم که به مردم خدمت کنیم. برای این کار تجربه‌های منطقه‌ای و بین‌المللی را رصد می‌کردیم. برای ساختار، مدیریت و برنامه باید فکر می‌کردیم. امکانات کمی داشتیم و زبان و نگاه ما و مسئولین مشترک نبود. زیرساخت‌ها و منابع پاسخگو نبود. روستاهای ما خانه بهداشت خیلی کم داشت و تصمیم گرفتیم این کار را بسیجی تمام کنیم.
این نامزد انتخابات ریاست جمهوری تصریح کرد: سال ۷۵ جلسه‌ای با بسیج داشتیم و در نهایت ساخت ۶۳۰ خانه بهداشت را ۶ ماهه تمام کردیم و روی هر کدام نام یک شهید گذاشتیم و باور نمی‌کردند یک رئیس دانشگاه بچه‌های خود را بالای کوه ببرد و با هم کار کنند. ما عقیده داشتیم سیستم باید علمی مدیریت شود نه دِیمی. بعد از آن پیشنهاد معاونت وزیر داشتیم و بعد از وزارت بیمه همگانی را انجام دادیم.
